“Being a Veterinarian, I feel I'm able to make a tangible difference in the lives of people and their pets. I left my government job because I saw no end to my work, but working with pets, I find a common ground with their owners because we both care for the same thing."
Crystal is a native of the beautiful Pacific Northwest and has been in Gig Harbor for over 30 years. Prior to joining the PetZen team, she spent 20 years working with children at a local pediatric medical office. After taking a brief hiatus from work to focus on self-care, she decided to follow her heart in the pursuit of working with animals. Crystal has been at PetZen since November of 2018 and is excited to be involved in the expanding field of integrative veterinary medicine. "It never ceases to amaze me how much an alternative approach to pet care has improved and prolonged the quality of life for so many of our beloved fur babies!". Crystal has always had special compassion and unconditional love for animals and feels blessed to have the opportunity to work in an environment with them every day. Outside of work, Crystal is the mother of two adult sons and a geriatric lab named Jade. When she is not running the reception desk at PetZen she enjoys spending time with friends and family and also loves the challenge of a good crossword puzzle along with creating handmade greeting cards and personalized gift bags.
